Pastor Randy Kightlinger
It is a blessing to have grown up in a Christian home, having attended church from the time I was born. But like all people, I was a sinner, falling short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Thankfully, I made a commitment to Jesus (John 3:16) at a youth camp in my teens and have been on a spiritual journey with Him ever since.
It was in the 90’s that I began to sense God calling me into ministry, which led me on a pathway toward ordination in the Church of God, Anderson, IN, and to a degree in Transformational Chrisitan Ministry from Warner University in Lake Wales, FL.
God assigned me as associate pastor in a local church for 12 years before calling me into hospice ministry for the next nearly-11. I have since retired from full-time ministry employment, but continue to serve God as He directs, which includes the honor of serving as an elder at Community Church of God.
My life verse is Colossians 3:17: And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
May the Lord bless you as you endeavor to follow Him.
